ATN's Cooperation with PH-US Governments Solidified

After a highly-competitive and rigorous bid tender, ATN has successfully bagged a multi-million transport contract for the door-to-door delivery of 216 trucks of US Excess Defense Articles (EDA) involving 12,000 CBM.

Hurdling immense challenges including US MARAD issues, snowstorms, and flooding in the US East Coast, the ATN is on the homestretch in the consolidation and withdrawal of the 216 military trucks that were picked up from various USG depots across the country. These trucks will be loaded towards the end of April 2011 into a 5,000-tonner RORO US-flagged vessel chartered especially for said delivery.

ATN’s CEO Mary Lou T. Estrada is at the helm and steering of said project to its fruitful completion. Ms. Estrada considers the contract as one of the most challenging projects after brazing through several compliance and special laws from the United States and the Philippine government.
